As if we don't have enough going on in our lives we get a playground, as Cooper refers to it, at our parents house. We bought it Sunday afternoon and it came in two huge boxes. We opened everything up and I laid out all the materials and Brian set up all the tools to make sure we had everything, that took about 1 and 1/2 hours. We started to begin the assembly but quickly gave it up for lack of sunlight and just still being worn out from the week of hellish moving. Monday we started again at about 10 a.m. The hardest part was getting the initial frame set and there were a few tense moments of "what have we gotten ourselves into?" Brian spent the rest of the day putting the thing together with Cooper asking "are you finished yet?" Sadly he finished just in time for them to be in bed so they weren't able to enjoy it until Tuesday. My parents have such a nice, big backyard that the swing set is an awesome addition to the place. This is a grandchild's dream play yard with the new playground, trampoline and swimming pool not to mention the cars, trucks and sand box too! Since we will be in an apartment for the summer this will be a great place to come for a vacation!
