Ways to get my Mom to relax. By Cooper
"I may never March in the Infantry
"Ride in the Calvary.
"Shoot the artillery.
"I may never Fly 'or the enemy,
But I'm in the Lord's Army."
Repeat until Mom falls on the floor laughing.
Cooper is in a "Me do it Myself" phase in clothing himself. Each and every day a small battle begins as soon as breakfast is over and clothes need to be put on. I always pick something out for him and lay it on the couch. He goes and gets his own outfit(as seen) and then tells me "I'm an Army Man and I'm ready to go!" Um... not like that your not.
Just in the last two weeks he has put everything I have laid out for him on from his underwear to his shoes AND socks. Now, the shirt will be backwards, so will the underwear and the shoes will be on the wrong feet. BUT, he does it himself! Yeah Cooper!!!
We are beginning our moving process tomorrow and my head will not quit spinning. I have most everything packed. All is packed that will be in storage for 9 months or so and the boxes are sitting nicely in the garage. All I have left is the things going to the apartment and that is where the big mess comes in. I am off to U-Haul first thing in the morning for more boxes and hope to have it all ready before everyone comes to help out at 6 PM. The plan is to rent two huge U-Haul trucks. One will be for the apartment stuff and the other for the 9 month run. Both trucks will be loaded and then driven to a local storage unit. I rented two. One for 9 months, the other for 10 days. See, our apartment will not become available until June 5th. So, we will keep all the stuff there. We will stay at a hotel Wednesday through Friday so we can go back to the house and touch up paint and get it ready for the new owner with all our stuff out of it. Friday we CLOSE! on the house and then head to my parents. I will spend the week with them and Husband will come back for work. I will join him June 5 to help load and unload for the apartment move. We will have four days and then head back to my parents for two weeks so I can help my sister with the wedding, throw a shower and help at VBS because Husband will be gone for a work trip. Once Husband returns we will head back for 4 days and then back again in the car to my parents for the wedding of the year.
Once July hits I foresee a mild break down and becoming a hermit in my house so don't come looking for me, I will be fine. That is all.
