The count down has now begun on "the wedding." I have exercised as much as I can, ate what I needed to and overall felt good about how I will fit in my dress. I followed all the rules to get where I am at this moment, but I think God wanted to remind me that all my vainness will get me nowhere.

Take a trip with me, shall we. I have been at my parents house now for almost two weeks. Brian will be back with us on Friday, the Bachelorette party is on Saturday and the baby shower is Sunday for my cousin. I have been playing with my boys and relaxing the past two weeks. I am in the middle of VBS at the church I grew up with and am having a fabulous time.

What's the problem you asked? Oh . . . I just have poison ivy, ON MY FACE! I first noticed something three days ago and I thought it was zits coming up. This struck me as odd because I looked like a thirteen year old just entering puberty. But then there was more, and it burned and there were a lot of bumps and the itching. The over the top, nothing else consumes my mind but the itching! I have it no where else but MY FACE! I went to the doctor today and she gave me a shot and some cream to put on it three times a day. She suggested that I should stay away from any poison ivy and I would if I just knew where it was?!?! Like I mentioned I haven't been anywhere and the boys haven't gotten it and neither has my parents. It is truly mind blowing.

I am swelling today. Just one side of my face but I am a joy to look at for sure. I watched my niece and nephew overnight and Jennah kept telling me I needed to put some make up on. Oh the joy of the four year old! Let's all pray for a quick recovery, mmmkay? Here I am 30 years old and never had a break out, but my luck ran out. Happy, happy, joy, joy.

VBS is going great. The theme is aliens, as we are suppose to be in this world. Each night has been a different person from the Bible that was an alien of sort during their time. Joseph, Ester, Rahab and the boys in the fiery furnace. A very neat theme and a great reality check for my personal life.
