Quite the eventful weekend and for once we didn't have to leave our town. Since hearing of all my wonderful stories about living the apartment life my parents made the trip down to check it out for themselves. They were impressed. The neighbors did a fine job of stomping around upstairs, there was a loud group of college students entertaining us with their voices and my parents even locked their car! Even they have standards.

Brian was out of town so my mom had the privilege of getting up early and going with us to see/ride on Thomas the Train. We received a passport upon arriving that we were to have stamped at each station as we went along. As you can see they are decked out in their Thomas gear as they pose with Sir Toppin Hatt(I have no earthly idea how to correctly spell his name). We stood in line for a good while and I wasn't even sure I could get a picture with the two of them, but once our turn came Wyatt walked up there with no problem as Cooper silently followed. Looks like the dreaded Santa picture won't be to bad this year, fingers crossed. We were able to see lots of trains, hear Thomas stories and get pictures with Thomas and brand ourselves with fancy tattoos. Cooper was most excited to ride the train and it was by far his favorite part. I am so glad my mom was able to go because once we hit the gift shop we needed an adult on guard on each boy. We actually got away pretty cheaply and I was feeling proud of my "one toy for each boy" rule. We were heading to the car when Cooper reminded me that I promised him he could have a balloon. DARN! Thought I was going to get out of that one. We turn around to find the balloon guy and Cooper is jumping with excitement. There is no turning back now, so I get him his balloon. EIGHT DOLLARS! That is how much I was ripped off. Gotta love that mother's guilt. I tied that balloon next to his bed and he has talked to it every night since. Once it deflates I am going to frame it for the price I paid.

My parents left Saturday evening and took Cooper with them. Brian was in Tulsa so he was able to pick Cooper up on Sunday and bring him home. I had the rest of the night with Wyatt and what a difference one less child brings! Our brand new SuperTarget opened and I made four trips just this weekend alone. I love it!

Sunday afternoon our church Life Group made a trip to the zoo. I had visited the zoo a couple of weeks ago with Cooper and now I was going to have a trip with Wyatt. I am not a big fan of the zoo, but I put forth the effort and went. It was a beautiful day and Wyatt seemed to have a great time, even with no nap! I was more exhausted then him.
