*PT, late afternoon

A very productive afternoon for dry underwear! Although it did require me saying about every two minutes, "Do you need to go potty?" "Are your underwear still clean & dry?" I really hate being overly cheerful. BUT! Whatever works, right?

At naptime I debated whether to put him in a pull up and I decided to stick with the underwear. He called me into his room THREE times within a five minute time period with no results. As I laid him back in his bed I gave the stern mommy talk about telling the truth and the fourth time he called me was the charm. PeePee heaven! Diego candy was his choice that round.

I am all about the bribery with *potty training. Tonight I even made a trip to the Dollar Store to stock up on all kinds of goodies that should get us through tomorrow. We are even planning on leaving the house too! Yikes.

I am pleased with day one and it has went better than I expected. Only four changes of underwear and that was before lunch. After lunch he stayed in the same pair(racecars). I have high expectations as I put him to bed in some Spiderman's but I planned to sneak in there when he falls asleep to put a pull up on. I am not willing to give up a full night's sleep when it can be avoided. Check back for Day Two. Go Wyatt!
