It is Thursday and I feel 'almost recovered' from Brian being off work for five days. He keeps us busy although I am sure he feels as though I was the one keeping everyone on their toes. It was nice to have him around for longer than a couple of hours at a time and the boys soaked in as much Daddy time as they could get. He went back to work Monday so they are back to only seeing him an hour or two a day and they are going through withdrawals. I'm getting use to being the only parent around during the day and he is back to getting up at 5 AM and working at least a 13 hour day. Ugh.

During his time off I had an entire day just with him to celebrate my 32nd birthday(thanks
Pam!), spend all the money we had left in the bank for two fun filled days at the fair, getting yard work done(is it winter yet?), getting the garage cleaned out(I still hurt), eating to much fried food and working on rental houses(sell them already!)
We had thought about going somewhere relaxing, but there was much to be done here and I am glad we stayed around to get it all complete no matter how long my recovery has been. I love to have things crossed off 'my list of things to do' and I can now say that list is done!

For the past month our Tuesday/Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings have been filled with everything soccer. This is Cooper's first year to play and so far he seems to be enjoying it. I am not the best at being a soccer mom for at the first practice my kid showed up in knee high socks with matching green shorts and shirt with no ball, while the other kids had shin guards and soccer gear all around. I was quite embarrassed and made a trip to the sport store to get in the know. I am still learning the sport myself and Cooper has seemed to have a much easier time than when we did TBall last spring. We now are working on listening to his coach and the basic fundamentals. I love the team he is on and his coach is awesome and Cooper loves him, so that makes me feel good. That man has a ton of energy with those boys and makes you love the game too.

Since the school year started every Monday & Thursday after Pre K class Luke has been coming over to the house while his mom is at work. They are in the same Pre K class and have attended church together since they were born and are also on the same soccer team. Cooper & Wyatt love having him over and it can get pretty loud with all the bad guy fighting of being Batman, police officers and cowboys. They all have quite the imagination. I sneaked into the playroom to take this picture of the two of them playing with the doctor kit. They would take turns on who would be the doctor and patient. It was the ONLY quiet game they have played since Luke has been coming over;)

As mentioned at the beginning of this post it has been taking me a while to get back into the swing of things. One day this week after not hearing any fighting or playing going on between the boys for at least five minutes I went to check it out. Here is how I found Wyatt. On the couch watching Higglytown Hero's and helping himself to some shredded cheese. You can say I was less than pleased, but then I figured I wouldn't have to cook anything for lunch and I would have at least a good thirty minutes to myself so I took a picture and then went to lay on the couch. I am glad to know my boys would be able to take care of themselves;)
I do have a reason for all my 'laziness' although it is lasting much longer than I remember the boys being. We are expecting baby #3 this spring! I will save that exciting story for another time.

I was wondering if you were ever going to announce #3 to the blogging world. When will you find out girl or boy?
Cooper looks so big in his soccer uniform. We will have to come down and see him play. Did he just start recently?
I feel so special... a whole post dedicated to little ole me! Thanks for writing again, I was going through withdrawal. And by the way, Luke does LOVE coming over on Mondays and Thursdays. He asks me every ay if you are picking him up and when the answer is "no," he gets a little hacked at me. Ahhh, good times.
been wondering when the big news would be on blog world! Congrats again! Wish Gunner could be part of the Mon/Thurs play day! Miss you......take care and don't eat too much ice cream! Hugs
