Patience. . .

. . . not my best gift. After getting up at the crack of dawn, taking a shower, putting my makeup on and packing my bag I received a call informing me to stay at home until 8:30 or so. Around 6:45 I get another call breaking the bad news that I had been bumped until tomorrow because there were no open beds for inductions. I have been on a roller coaster of emotions, which my family is enjoying. Doesn't seem I can even kick this kid out, even when I try.

Until tomorrow . . .

Ugh! We are all groaning for you! We all love you and know that when he finally arrives it will be a true blessing! Maybe you'll go into labor after all... hee hee... then let 'em try to keep you away!

DUDE! Unbelievable! You'd think a woman 10 days PAST DUE would take priority over somebody who just thinks March 13 is a nice day to have a kid. Anyway... hang in there... I can't wait to meet him. I hope he has red hair... how precious would that be!?! This whole day will be a distant memory when you are holding that sweet baby tomorrow. Lots of love!

Are you sure you didn't pray for patience sometime in the last few months? 'Cause it seems like God is trying to teach you something here. :)

It's 8:00 on Friday and I just pray that you are all ready pushing that baby out! Can't wait to meet him!
