The month has brought MANY changes in your little life as you are moving from the newborn stage into babyhood. Hear mommy cheering loudly! I have already put away three items you do not need anymore. The Bumbo seat, the activity gym and your infant carseat. You have been moved into a table highchair which you can now sit up in on your own. The activity gym was getting no use because you are rolling and scooting everywhere AND you are also the proud new owner of a convertible carseat that is Super comfortable *high five!*
Oh the joys(or not)of baby food. We have GOT to work on that spoon to mouth milestone. I am not a big fan of messes and my-oh-my do we have big messes when you eat. I repeat to myself over and over that this to shall pass. You love yellow squash, carrots and prunes. Dislikes? bananas, applesauce and pears. Are you sure you are mine? Those are some different taste buds. You are holding your own bottle now too. This makes no difference to me as I still want to hold and cuddle you while you drink that bottle. It is still cute to see your little hands grasping that big bottle.

You are a mover and use any means necessary to get where you want to go. You can get on all fours and rock back and forth. Sitting up on your own is good to go as long as nobody makes sudden movements where you will twist and turn and fall over immediately. One of my favorites is the fits you can give if you do not get what you want. Throwing your head back and screaming is your way of letting us know you are NOT pleased and things better change quickly. Bad news for you kid . . . I think it is cute and do not jump quickly to your demands.
I gave you a haircut this month. I couldn't stand the wispy hairs, so off it all came. You had no problems with the clippers, thank goodness. First sickness came this month as well. Snotty nose, fever and just down and out.

Wait a second, where did this blondish hair come from?
Shelly-I think it is only the sunlight from the kitchen window giving him a blondish look. He is a dark headed little boy.
