September was the month of our small town homecoming parade. We met with some friends, hi Pam!, early in the afternoon to watch the parade. The small town did not disappoint with lots of cars, candy and old men with instruments walking in the street parade. The boys favorite part was gathering as much candy as possible and hording it all for themselves. We are still working on sharing with others. We got enough candy to not have to buy any for Halloween. Of course I won't be able to hold on to all that candy and will either eat it all myself or throw it away because I have no self control. For my slim figure I am guessing I will throw it all out. Poor Cooper was the oldest and seemed out of place. I must start putting myself out there and met other homeschooling parents to introduce some friends that our Cooper's age. Thankfully next year Luke will be out of school for the parade and will be able to join us. It was a beautiful afternoon too!
