My parents had the right idea of how to handle a long ride with five kids. Having the camper on the back of the truck we lounged around in our little beds the whole way as our parents sat in the front, oblivious to us knocking and yelling through the double plated glass windows. We KNEW they could hear us and it was very annoying. At the very beginning of the trip we had the last laugh as all five of us frantically beat on the window and screamed trying to let them know the trailer was coming off the hitch! Thank goodness they finally granted us a knowing look and pulled off the highway.
After that little incident we were putty in their hands as they would turn around to acknowledge us anytime we knocked on the window:)
This picture was one we took at the park where you get to dress up and pretend we lived "way back then" It was a fun trip and one I look back on with fond memories.

I love this picture and remembered it instantly from your [mom's] house when I saw it.
Seeing Jody made me think about his domain in that room behind the garage. Remember those make believe rock concerts we used to put on back there?
You always had me up to something.
Thanks for putting a smile on my face after having a "blue" day. I've got to go find my Silver Dollar City tin photo!
You didn't take that picture from my house did you? It is the only copy I have!
