My Husband is Famous!

Working at OU Brian has had some great opportunities come his way. Saturday was one of those moments. He scored an 'all access pass' to the football game against Miami. At 5:30AM(crazy!) Brian and my brother in law John left for the game as my sister Amy and I slept in. Brian was 'working' as they planned to have paratroopers jumped onto the field for the game. The weather wasn't cooperating, yet Brian was able to hold on to his pass and the boys were able to walk onto the field for the game.

Amy & I took advantage of the ghost town and headed to Target. My phone rings and my cousin Dennis is asking where we are. Why? Because he is also at the OU game and had just saw Brian on the jumbo screen! We finish our shopping and head home to turn the game on to try to catch them on TV. The following video is the best we could get, but seeing it 'live' they had a head shot. It was the last touchdown OU made of the game and immediately after you see my husband and brother in law and no one else. It was so cool! In this video it is the whole crowd and Brian & John are on the front row, but you get the idea.

Sunday morning at church Brian had about ten different people come up to him and say they saw him on TV and he even had a couple of emails from people he hadn't talked to in a while to say they saw him too. We had two happy husbands who had a very unique experience at an OU game. Go Sooners!
