One Down and One To Go

Ahhh . . . back at home, children asleep and Thanksgiving is over. I love the fall season and all the holidays that follow, including my birthday but I also love to see them go to get on with life. My parents did an amazing job of hosting Thanksgiving yet again. I love getting together with all five of my brothers and sisters PLUS all their kids PLUS extended family for a time of eating and more eating and talking. Since getting married us siblings are having to juggle two different families but we all manage to see each other at least once on this day. I also look forward to seeing all my nieces and nephews playing just like we use to when we were little. *tear*

Shout out to the REIGNING champions of WAHOO . . . the lovely Meridith and Jenny! HHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYY!!!! I'm sure the losers will regain strength and want to play again at Christmas and we will give them that chance, but I hate to see them in so much pain once the game is over:) Missed you Braxton!

Let me say that for all of you that get up at the crack of dawn to hit all the "wonderful, amazing, once in a lifetime deals" that all the sale ads throw at you on Thanksgiving is a joke. I was almost drafted into this early morning game but decided sleep was way more important to me than a lousy 20 dollar savings. But, Brian and I did get to go out that night for much needed time away from the boys. We hit the road to get some shopping done and found the same amazing deals at a much more reasonable time and got everything that I wanted!! Yeah! I am now half way done with shopping which is a huge feat with so many people in the family.

Sickness seems to be on the horizon and we will hopefully get it under control before it takes us all down.

We went and saw Walk The Line and it was an amazing story! I didn't know much about Johnny Cash, but after the movie my interest was peaked and I can't learn enough about his life and music. I loved it!

Happy Thanksgiving to All!!
