Enjoying Peter Pan on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

We are all finally better(I am knocking on wood)! Wyatt had his 2 year check up this week and he had a little fluid on his right ear so the doctor went ahead and wrote a prescription because she knew how much illness we had faced and didn't want us to come back(YEAH!) so I was glad that was found early. We head up to my parents house this weekend for his birthday party and the family picture. Look back at my previous post in December when we had all the grandkids together for a picture . . . now add all my brothers and sisters PLUS the spouses and then the parents who created this madness and you got yourself a party that is our family picture on Saturday. I am thinking of bringing my camcorder to recorder the whole ordeal and then selling it because I know what our family can offer. I'll let you know!

We have two more weeks left in this house. I have slowly been packing and am quite proud of my organizational skills. I'm excited about this new transition in our life and hope for a quick 6 to 9 months ahead of us. Surely apartments can't be that bad, right? I keep reminding myself that there will be NO mowing and NO pool upkeep. That in itself is a huge benefit for us.

Last story. As a mother there are days I think I have this parenting thing figured out. I can anticipate possible tantrums and cut them off in the path. I feel the urge for Cooper needing to go to the bathroom and am right by the toilet when he announces he needs to go. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is met with praises by BOTH boys and they eat all that is presented to them. Then there are the other days. When nothing goes right and I question my being as a mother.

I checked both boys during nap time and Wyatt was out and Cooper was enjoying his movie that still had a good 45 to an hour left so I went to lay down on the couch(Mistake #1) I then fell asleep on that couch(Mistake #2) many, many minutes go by and all of the sudden THUMP! I'm half awake half asleep but wonder if I heard something. THUMP! I definitely heard something. THUMP! THUMP! What in the . . . THUMP! Oh, my head hur THUMP!! THUMP! I now realize the noise is coming from the bathroom. THUMP!

" COOPER!" no response, but another THUMP!

" C O O P E R!" Why I don't get up, I'm not sure. I was tired.

"Coming!" Runs to the couch. "What mom?"

"What are you doing?"

"Come see!" "Your gonna LOVE it"

"Cooper, I am tired and this is rest time. I need you to go lay down, I will look at it later."

"Okay, mom! No problem" Note to self: he is being WAY to nice.

I go into the bathroom to see the damage. White, wet spitballs all over my bathroom walls. As I walk further I see that half of my toilet paper is gone and that water is all around the toilet seat. Cooper had dunked toilet paper into the toilet and then threw these wet spitballs to see them stick to the walls. Fun!

Oh, the life of a three year old boy. I'm going to look for my Advil.

Cooper is just trying to do some last minute decor. before the new owners move in. Sometimes a little nap is worth trouble like that even if you have to spend the rest of the day cleaning!

I'm not gonna make the family pictures or Wyatt's bday. I have to work a rodeo in Tulsa all weekend. I know I suck! Amy has already grilled me.

Sorry
