Do you see what I see? Brick, actually on the house! It took about a week longer than expected, but it is now complete. We are now moving on to the paint/staining and we are one step closer to the big move in. I am counting for sometime in January and I hope not to be disappointed.

Brian took off work one day last week when the temperatures were in the 70's to cut on some more of the trees. We were able to make another big dent in the backyard and I was thrilled. I didn't know I was living with such a woodsman;)

Last Sunday night was the big Christmas program and as predicted Cooper froze on stage. After all the practicing our little boy fixated on the teacher and gave her the evil stare until all the singing was complete. I was able to get him to look at me as I "loudly whispered" his name over and over as I sat on the floor at the bottom of the stage. Classic stage mom I know.

Wyatt loved every minute but seemed confused once he got on stage. All the dimming of the lights and the big spot light on them was a bit much, so despite singing loudly at all the practices once on stage he looked around while the teacher in front sang the Twinkle Twinkle Little Star song solo. All the twos looked adorable in their sheep outfits. I got more video of Wyatt singing than pictures, but you get the idea.

After all was over both boys were living up the picture scene. Cooper & Kyle, who were all quiet and serious on the stage, morphed back into the wild and crazy kids we are use to seeing. Cooper was attacking Kyle before he had a chance to realize what was going on when I snapped a picture. Then Cooper switches and becomes all little mister innocent hugging his brother as Wyatt lovingly looks on. Classic. I am glad this is only once a year!

Last Saturday my parents along with Braxton(nephew), Kylee(niece) and Shelby(niece) came down to spend the night. Yes, in the apartment. We had an extended family Christmas party thirty minutes from where we live and they didn't want to drive back so late and we love to make memories and thought this would be a good one! We stayed up way to late Saturday night and filled up one whole pew at church the next day and I had a blast. We were able to fit everyone into the apartment sardine style and no one complained.

At the party we did a dirty santa gift exchange and I came home with a gingerbread train set kit and Brian was the lucky winner of a set of candle holders which we will be regifting for the party next year;) This was the first year we didn't have a child attached at the hip and we(Brian & I)were able to sit together for an extended period of time as the boys ran around and played with their cousins. Priceless.

We have been battling sicknesses this week. Cooper missed school on Monday due to a terrible cold that seems to not go away and now it has been passed to Wyatt. Although as it gets passed around the family a new symptom seems to arise. Wyatt started out running a low grade fever yesterday and then today his temperature hit 103 degrees. He has been so lethargic and took a three and a half hour nap today. Cooper is doing much better so I hope this illness leaves Wyatt soon.

Brian is on half days until the new year and this is a schedule I could get use to! The boys have been enjoying more Daddy time.

FIVE days until Christmas!
