Winter Storm In Numbers

4: Days stuck in the apartment

10 dozen: Number of cookies I have made over this break

1000: Number of hours I will need to run to keep the shape I had before eating the cookies

26: Number of waffles eaten by my two boys, they seem to eat things in stages!

3: Gallons of milk we went through

150: Times I heard "Can we go outside now?"

?: Not even estimating how many episodes of SpongeBob was watched.

12: Number of fire logs bought at 7-11 for our "beautiful" fire place.

25+ Times I said, "Stay away from the fire!"

2: Husband actually left the house with the boys to take them to the mall! I'm so glad he cannot sit still!!!!

5: Hours of alone time I got, alone people . . . by MYSELF!

7:00 Boys were in bed asleep each evening

3: Number of times I changed PJ's

0: Time I put make up on and fixed my hair

1: Meals I had to cook, it was beans & cornbread

8: Meals my Husband cooked, he should be a chef!

15: Times a day we were engaged in battles of Go Fish, CandyLand, Go Fishing, Old Maid & Memory games

3: Movies I was able to watch

2: Number of mornings I was actually able to sleep in(9:30 on one day!)

School & church is already cancelled for Wednesday. I was on the verge of a panic attack when the winter storm hit our town last Friday. I couldn't imagine spending so much time in this apartment with absolutely nothing to do. I finally put make up on this afternoon to met some friends for a playdate with the boys. I secretly found myself wanting to go back home and continue just as I had this weekend. I needed to be still.

So glad you finally updated! I admire you for your weekend adventures. I don't have any children, but I went crazy this weekend as well. Funny...I think I ate 26 waffles by myself this weekend, and I'm sure I fit SpongeBob in somewhere...maybe I should have been at your house!

John, I know you are really the one freaking out about me not updating. You really shouldn't blame Amy for the uproar, step up and be a man;)
