that the boys love to go to. When we first found our property there was much to be desired with the pond, but with all the rain it has turned out nice.
The boys haven't had much luck catching fish in it. They aren't patience enough to wait around for a bite. On Sunday we ventured down to see what we could find. When we walked out on the pier we noticed a lot of turtles and the occasional fish swimming by. Wyatt found a piece of dog food and threw it into the water.

"Now we need to go get our fishing pole!" said by Cooper as he threw in his last piece of bread. I shook my head "yes!" excitedly and off to the house we went. Once we came inside and got a nice big glass of water I asked, "who wants to go swimming?!" "ME!!" they both say jumping up and down.
I am so glad they can be distracted so easily;) It would have been to HOT for fishing!
In other news: Today marks the beginning of official potty training. No diapers are left in the house and we will all wear underwear.
Why you ask? This weekend Wyatt told me he had to go potty twice, which until now has NEVER happened. I want to take advantage of the moment and decided in my head we would begin. I stocked up on Popsicles and Diego candy. Wyatt had no idea Sunday would be his last day for diapers.
SO! 8:00 this morning I wake up to a quiet house. I turn on the news and pour a bowl of cereal and enjoy the moment before the boys wake up. 8:30 I hear Wyatt calling me. This is unusual for him because when he wakes up in the morning he climbs out of bed and plays with his trains until I go in to get him. Yet this morning he is calling me. I put my ear to the door trying to hear what he is wanting. "Mommy, I need to go potty!" "Mommy, I need to go potty!" WHAT! I rush in to get him out of bed and sit him on the toilet. And he goes. Popsicle #1 was delivered alot earlier in the day than I had anticipated. We were off to a good start!
The next three hours we have went through three pairs of underwear. Oh, well.
Here we are at 1:15 and he just came and told me he needs to potty again. Popsicle #2 is being enjoyed as I write this out on the swing set.
I know he will get it sometime this week. I am an all or nothing kind of girl. I know I have alot of accidents to clean up and the constant question of "do you need to go potty?" will come from my mouth plenty of times.
Wyatt's time is up. No more diapers. We will see how it goes. I will let you know when I will be checking into the mental hospital or that I have one less son, whichever comes first.

Sounds like Wyatt's ready! You're so lucky. It will be a while for Payt. *sigh* Maybe Payt will think it's really cool that Wyatt goes potty and decide to potty train himself, what do you think?
That approach worked well for us and Quin was PT'd in days. Amazing! Good luck though. I know those first few days can really start to wear you down!
Pam, Wyatt is under the impression that Payt already wears underwear. I name all the kids in his class that are "big boys" and Wyatt will name Payt off every time. Let's not tell him the the truth, mmmkay?:)
Kerri-Thanks for the encouragement. How's Quin now with the PT?
