Hallowen Part II

This 'fun' activity took a total of about 5 minutes. If I was to include the time it took to set up and clean up afterwards then it would seem like a worthwhile project because that was at least forty minutes. Earlier this month we visited the pumpkin patch where they each got to chose their favorite pumpkin and instead of carving right then, we painted them. Tonight we will cut into the pumpkins and carve them for Halloween night. The boys are more than excited to go trick or treating and keep asking every two minutes if it is time yet. I would say we have to wait until it is dark outside, but I am planning to go earlier than that so I say we will be going after dinner. The concept of what is breakfast, lunch & dinner is unclear to them because after each meal or snack they assume it is dinner and run to put their costumes on. It's only 10:15 AM, a long day
awaits. BUT! as any parent knows it is a great incentive for all good behavior for they do not want to lose trick or treating privileges so they are on their best behavior. The long day will not be a hard one to handle;)

We are going to eat lunch with Daddy to help the day along and my beauties still take an glorious afternoon nap. If I can make it to lunch then the rest is a piece of cake.
