Yes, I realize that the cake is not Handy Manny. As mentioned in the previous post it was impossible to find anything with this theme, including the cake. Gah!
I am not a cook . . . it was not a gift I was born with and when I found out WalMart didn't even make a Handy Manny cake I thought about baking my own for about two seconds before going with the second option of his favorite cake. He had no trouble deciding on a four wheeler one. He has wanted a four wheeler(one that runs on gas, not a battery Mom!)since he was four years old. We have a battery powered Jeep we got when he was 18 months old that has now gone to Wyatt as Cooper is too big to ride on it any longer. He is fine riding his bike, but ever since Brian got a four wheeler from the Revletts(thanks guys:~)) Cooper has wanted one "his own size."
I must admit he is VERY good at driving one as he has went with his Dad and the Coleman's to ride theirs on Sunday afternoons. We decided to get one for his fifth birthday and he has waited very patiently since.

Cute story: We waited until Sunday afternoon after church to give it to him. There were to many people around on Saturday and it would have been to much in one day and plus we wanted to keep the surprise a while longer. So . . . after his party on Saturday we went with my parents to eat and as we were driving to the restaurant I asked him if he had a good party. His reply? "Yes, but I didn't get my four wheeler." I explained that there was still Christmas and even if he doesn't get one then that there are many more birthdays to look forward too. His response, "it's okay, I still had a great party!" Melts my heart.

Sunday, once we were home and changed into our play clothes we set out the four wheeler outside the front door. As he was playing his new game with Grandma we told him he had one more birthday present and handed him a big wrapped gift. Inside was his helmet that he knew immediately was for a four wheeler. His eyes lit up with excitement as we told him to open the front door. He was ready for his first ride as he went around and around the circle drive. Grandma got the first official drive as he took her around the block. It was a sight to see.

You are a brave woman.
WOW what a party and celebration! Glad Gunner's NOT there....he wants a 4 wheeler too, but he has nowhere to ride it here. At least C will pedal a bike. G's just sits in the garage getting dusty. I don't understand.......
(Thanks for mentioning us in the blog - we don't miss the 4wheeler since we weren't using it anyway)
Hope you're feeling well with the pregnancy....Miss you. Hugs to all.
