I am so glad I am near the end of this pregnancy because I have 'baby fever' since the arrival of my newest nephew, Benji!The weekend of my shower my sister was unable to come for the doctor put her on bedrest for the weekend when at her Thursday appointment she had high blood pressure. Upon her follow up appointment on Monday, her blood pressure was even higher and the doctor decided it was time for her to deliver. I was in shock, I just knew I would be FIRST! Hello? This is her first pregnancy and I don't feel she suffered as much as I look forward to in the next two(or three or four!)weeks;~) Yes, yes, Amy I know . . . you suffered, uh. huh.
On Tuesday I had the honor of sitting in the waiting room, you know waiting for his arrival. It wasn't a long wait as he was born at 3:44 weighing 7lbs 2ozs and was 19 1/2 inches long. A beautiful baby that had just the perfect parts of Amy & John. It is amazing how little they are and how fast time goes as I look at my 5 and almost 4 year old. Papa stayed at home with the boys so we could be at the hospital and they all came up shortly after he was born. Wyatt was all about the baby and wanted to look at him over and over. Cooper was more apprehensive and stayed right by my side. I asked him if he wanted to go over and see his new cousin. He leans over to my ear and whispers, "I just want to wait until your baby gets here." He melts my heart. Our little joy is going to have two great big brothers!Congrats John & Amy. He is more beautiful than I could have imagined!

Haha! I kinda like Maverick. Just kidding! How sweet is Cooper! What precious remark that you'll remember forever! Remember, the last 2 or 3 or 4 weeks are worth it once that baby is here...well, sorta. :) Congrats on your nephew! He's very beautiful!
