Wyatt's Turn

He was in the best mood all morning long and at lunch time he went downhill fast. It is amazing how quickly this virus takes over your body. One minute he is fine and the next he is complaining he is cold and starts shivering. I put a coat and hat on him and he halfway finishes his lunch. He heads to the couch and is in the fetal position saying he needs a blanket. I throw my very comfy, toasty robe on him and not five seconds later he is snoring! THREE hours later he wakes up and is somewhat cranky.

I already put a call into the doctor and have picked up his prescription for TamiFlu. He will finish the prescription the day before the little one is to arrive.

I had my last doctor's appointment today and I looked like death as I walked into her office. I did do her a favor and took a shower and changed my three day old clothes, but did nothing fancy with my hair and refused to put any makeup on. Apparently that is the way to get bumped to the front of the line as this appointment was my shortest from start to finish, only thirty minutes. Unheard of from my OB! Ready for this? NO CHANGE. Hello? What is wrong with me? Even my doctor was stumped to see NO CHANGE in the last THREE appointment and even got out the ol' ultrasound machine to see if he was head down or not. He was, so it looks like I will be forcing him out just like I did his two brothers.

This is a good thing since we have all been sick. I will now have time to Lysol everything down and wash all bedding before he comes. The last thing we need is a sick newborn too;) BUT! I would never had anticipated having my third child TEN days AFTER his due date. If I didn't already feel so weak, this would have put me over the edge-heh!

Daddy is almost home(yeah!)so I can have my fourth nap of the day and we are looking forward to hunkering down all weekend, sleeping through this mess! I have my tissues under one arm and the Lysol can in the other. Prayers for a speedy recovery.

So sorry you all are so sick. We will be praying that Brian stays well and energized to take care of you all.

Flat Stanley is going to have so much fun with you all! If you don't mind before you send him back give him a quick spray with the Lysol!

Jenny, you must have a very comfy womb. Hope this is no indication of how long it will take to get your GROWN sons OUT OF THE NEST!
