Off to Lake Thunderbird we went this weekend full of enthusiasm and dreams of a good time. My parents actually left home and drove down to go camping with us which was a huge blessing because we are the ones usually driving the 2 1/2 hours to met them. Now that they have a new trailer they are becoming more adventurous even in their "old" age. We found a beautiful spot off of the lake that actually backed up to water, which is hard to find when you have to hook up. It was the most relaxing weekend we have had I think since Brian has been home from Afghanistan. It is rare that all four of us have a relaxing time but one that is greatly appreciated. We only had to drive 15 minutes to get to our spot and it was perfect. I am afraid I will get spoiled to this type of camping and refuse any time spent in the car from now on. I was very impressed with the location because it had trees, availablity to water and lots of room for the boys to run. We swam both days in the lake, which even had "sandy beaches!!" Cooper loved the waves from the boats going by and Wyatt wanted to dig in all the mud/sand he could get his hands on. I induldged in as much sweets as I could get my hands on which I paid for this morning at the gym. It's great having my parents around on these trips and I am glad they upgraded into their nice trailer, hopefully they will make more trips up this way.

We had a good time too! You and Wyatt look so cool with your sunglasses. Hope he is feeling better today.
