With an almost three year old Halloween is so much fun! This has been the longest Halloween celebration time that I can remember. We had a carnival Friday night at the YMCA, Sunday night at Alameda COC and then went trick or treating Monday night in our neighborhood! My kids have been full of candy and have the tempers and fits to prove it. The boys wore their costumes three different days so they are now under the impression Halloween is a week long candy fest!
I had a hard time getting a picture with the two of them actually in it. In the first picture Cooper is pointing at Wyatt who had run off from us and was heading to the neighbors house whose cat was roaming the yard. Cooper is saying "Uh-Oh, Wyatt, NO!" I actually took ten shots and none of them turned out with them both in the picture, so it was a little frustrating. They put their costumes on an hour or so before Brian was home and then wanted to play in the yard. I tried to get some pictures then, again with no luck! Wyatt was on the move the entire time and Cooper wanted to ride in his truck.
Cooper was SO excited to go trick or treating. Each house we went to he would say "Trick or Treat!" or "Happy Halloween!" and then thank each person who gave him candy. He would quickly turn around to Brian or I and say "Next house for more candy, right!?"
We took the wagon and Wyatt rode most of the time around the neighborhood. The first five houses we went to I got him out of the wagon and took him to the door but we would have been out all night to hit the houses just around the block so we decided to leave him in the wagon and roll him up as much as possible to the house. Cooper was on the look out for him because after he would get his candy he would tell the person he needed one for Wyatt and hold up the number one finger. Of course no one understood what he was saying and a couple of times Cooper would get upset if Wyatt didn't get his candy but after I assured him Wyatt was fine with it, Cooper was fine and off to the next house he went!
Once home we dumped all the candy from both boys on the table and I thought Cooper was going to jump out of his skin he was so excited! His favorite were the Hershey Chocolate bars and he ate them all up quickly. We had our porch light on and Cooper was able to hand out candy to other Trick or Treaters and he thought that was cool. He kept telling us "I not scared!"
Hopefully no tummy aches in the morning!

Amy, I need your email address! You have to start a Xanga account to leave messages on Meridith's. All I did was name that site the same thing and then the only entry I added was my address to this site. It's easy to do.
