Here is what we do at least twice a day. Since our bright idea of getting Cooper a bike he expects to ride the thing. We go around and around the apartment complex dodging speeding cars as my blood pressure hits all time highs. Another factor to add to the mix is Wyatt. His biking skills haven't kicked in yet, but he still wants to get his exercise in and refuses to ride in the stroller without screaming at the top of his lungs the entire trip. His favorite thing to do is push around a monster truck. He bends over the entire time pushing his trucks as closely as he can to Cooper, but gets distracted easily at any bug, leaf or car that passes. This isn't bad if Brian is home and we have one on one man coverage for each child, but when I am alone my heart skips a beat trying to keep the boys together yet I end up yelling at Wyatt to hurry up/run or for Cooper to slow down. Good times.

Yesterday we were out on our daily rides and stopped by to check the mail. We headed down a new path between the apartments on the sidewalk. Cooper was in front and I was lagging behind with Wyatt. Cooper turned to head back to the street towards our apartment and he was met with a steep downward hill. Using my new skill of seeing into the future I can see that Cooper will lose control of his bike and head quickly into the street, so I take off running to catch up with Cooper who has already realized he is going faster than usual. I reach Cooper in time only to have Wyatt head down the same downhill slope and run into the back of my heel and tumble over his four wheeler and hit face first into the concrete. He had blood running all down his face and I had to carry a 35 pound two year old and the big monster truck and follow alongside Cooper on his bike the rest of the way home. Wyatt lost a layer of skin on the top of his nose and his forehead(which you can't see with his hair covering it up) and a little band aid made everything better. Hopefully all will be cleared up before our Christmas pictures!

HOUSE NEWS: Our brick was suppose to be here last week and as of today it has still not arrived. Ggrrr. BUT, we have kitchen cabinets! Our trim carpenter only has the living room and the boys bathroom left to do and then the next step is painting/staining. May everything move as quickly as possible!

I understand! You are as Jonathan and I put it "zone coverage" only enough hands to prevent serious injury (if that)! Can't wait to see you all on Thanksgiving. Are you all staying all weekend?
