
pack up and leave. Simple enough.
Thankfully everyone was in a good mood so we stayed around two hours browsing at everything there was to see. We were able to look at lots of farm animals up close and personal and even hold a few rabbits, baby pigs and chicks. It wasn't crowded at all so the boys were free to run ahead and look at any animal they chose to. That would NEVER be an option at the state fair!
Even though there were rides we spent time with the animals and inside the buildings looking at paintings, home grown fruits and vegetables, and seeing other homemade things that people had won places for. The boys enjoyed seeing what each thing "won" as they had ribbons on each of the entries.

It was a relaxing Friday afternoon and I am glad I took the time to go.
