Star Wars Weekend Continued

The second day we were able to sleep in and play at one park before we headed back for Star Wars Weekend at Holllywood Studios.  From being there the day before we knew exactly where we needed to be and when to see our favorite characters.  The weather was beautiful and the boys had a blast seeing the characters walking around.

 

 

     There were a million people there, but that is what Disney deals with best.  It didn’t seem as crowded as it was and waiting in line wasn’t boring as there was lots to see and many children for my boys to interact with as we waited.  Some of the characters were walking the streets so we had to be on guard and catch them for a quick picture.  It was fun! 

 

 

Here is Jedi Mickey and when we first arrived we saw him and immediately jumped into the line.  With only five families ahead of us we were informed that Mickey’s time was over, but Darth Vader Goofy and Stormtrooper Donald would take his place.  No problem!  We got our picture and then planned to be back when Mickey’s turn came again.  I texted Brian(who was riding a roller coaster)to be in line at 5:20.  At 5:30 the boys and I were on our way to jump in line.  When we arrived we saw Mickey, but Brian hadn’t been able to get in line yet.  Boo!  We took our chance and waited for our picture.  We were not even half way through the line when Mickey had to go(!)  I had the boys get out of line and stand in the street where Mickey would be coming.  Here is what I snapped!  You see Brian to the left trying to tell the lady how much trouble we had taken to see Mickey(this was his last showing of the day).  She wasn’t budging, but I was excited with what I got.  Plus, I have a story to go with it :)
